Iran Regime's Leader: Polarizing the Society Is Dangerous, Should Not Be Repeated
Iranian Supreme Leader Mullah Ali Khamenei delivered remarks on Monday expressing concerns over the regime “becoming polarized” and “people divided by rifts,” describing such an outcome as dangerous and must not be repeated.
“Our national interest must match our national identity, not for our national identity being dependent on issues described as national interests… our national interests must not be imposed by foreigners,” he said.
“It is obvious that the US is not fond of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and Quds Force, and they will be placing conditions, for example for the IRGC to not exist, the Bassij to not interfere, act like this and that in foreign affairs and such other remarks. However, in complete contrast to the enemy, all our officials must boost Iran’s symbols of strength, such as the armed forces, the IRGC and Bassij, and all other believers,” Khamenei emphasized.
